The Rave occurrence is located 10.5 kilometres northwest of Aiken Lake approximately 109 kilometres northwest of the community of Germansen Landing.

At the Rave showing, an extensive gossan zone in sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Plughat Mountain Formation (Takla Group) hosts small amounts of malachite and chalcopyrite (Fieldwork 1992).
